Child Development Homes
Only certified homes are sanctioned by the Commanding Officer to provide child care. CDH care is provided by a military family member in base housing.
Ikego Child Development Center
The Yokosuka and Ikego Child Development Centers offer child care and developmental activities for children from six weeks – pre-kindergarten. Hourly care is available via reservations at various centers.
School Age Care
The Yokosuka and Ikego School Age Care (SAC) Centers offer a recreational program for children of working parents, from first through sixth grades. Bowling, skating, field trips, arts and crafts and games are part of the fun.
